Bridge of Hope Visitation
Every family receives personal visits or phone calls throughout the year, building relationships and meeting needs within the family.
Back to School Bash
Research is clear that children will struggle in school if they do not have the necessary tools to be successful. EFO distributes over 600 bags of school supplies during our events in nine locations throughout Harford County. A program on the importance of education, “It’s Cool To Stay In School,” is also offered.
Holiday of Hope - Thanksgiving
The “Baskets of Blessings” program assembles and delivers over 200 complete Thanksgiving dinners each year. The families in our program are overwhelmed with gratitude when they receive a complete dinner for their family as many struggle just to keep the lights and heat on in their homes this time of the year.
Holiday of Hope - Christmas
The Christmas “Star Kids” program conducts Christmas parties throughout Harford County giving over 500 presents to the children in our programs. We make sure no child goes without a gift every Christmas!
Warm Hands, Warm Hearts
During the months of January – March, the Extreme Team visits include hats, gloves and scarves. Additional support is offered to keep families warm and fed during these cold, winter months.
The youth leadership program was established to promote leadership qualities in middle and high school students within the Extreme Family Outreach program. We train our young people with skills and resources needed to become responsible members of society. These youth are giving back to a program that has changed their lives.
In the summertime, we keep the kids connected and learning. Through sponsor support, we're able to send a great number of our kids to summer camp!
